Your start in Germany
Germany is one of the countries on the European continent that currently has a serious shortage of doctors and nurses in the healthcare sector. The management consultancy PWC published a forecast in 2022 according to which almost 1.8 million vacancies in the healthcare sector in Germany will be unfilled in 2035 due to a lack of skilled workers. If this assumption is correct, there would be a shortage of 35%. Trained specialists from abroad are therefore extremely welcome. The staff shortage is particularly pressing in nursing and geriatric care. However, the shortage of doctors is also becoming a growing problem.
For example, postponements of operations are now commonplace in many hospitals, waiting times are increasing and patients are having to travel longer distances because certain departments in the clinics are closing temporarily or completely. Rural regions are particularly affected by this development.
For this reason, there are now agreements between the Indian and German governments to integrate trained specialists on a preferential basis and in an accelerated procedure. This is a great opportunity for Indian applicants to enter Germany and practice their profession there at attractive conditions. Carebridge Medical Junker facilitates the entry of Indian professionals into German care facilities.

Skilled workers from abroad are welcome
In Germany, people are aware of the quality of nurses and geriatric care nurses trained in India. At the same time, many Indian professionals find that it is not easy to work in these professions in their home country after completing their training. Therefore, a job in Germany is a good opportunity for flexible nursing experts from India.
Carebridge Medical Junker brings together the interests of Indian professionals and German healthcare facilities to create a win-win situation.
For this to succeed, several aspects have to come together:
- The qualified applicants must have a sufficiently good command of the language before they start working in the facilities,
- they must be prepared for the cultural differences
- and their training must be professionally accepted by the German authorities
Only if all the parameters are right will everyone involved be satisfied.
If just one of these key points is not right, recruitment will not be successful. Carebridge Medical Junker is aware of its responsibility towards both the Indian applicants and the care facilities that rely on the effective deployment of the specialists.
